The NHC has noticed our friend in the gulf, but they don’t think much of it at all. They have given it a 0% chance of formation in the next 5 days. This system has shown some rotation, but the conditions in it’s path are far from ideal. Upper level shear is spread across the gulf, which would decapitate anything that would form. Regardless, showers and thunderstorms persist, and will follow where ever it goes. The former Beatriz will move across the gulf and get swept up by a trough moving east across the gulf states early in the week.
No other tropical threats are noticed for the next 5 days.
