Tropical Storm Don has formed in the Atlantic Ocean and is situated just east of the Lesser Antilles.
A hurricane hunter aircraft flew into what was known as Invest 95L Monday afternoon and found enough of a circulation to designate the disturbance as a named tropical storm.
The first track for Tropical Storm Don takes the storm through the Lesser Antilles before dissipating over the Caribbean. This is due to a highly unfavorable environment the storm will be moving into over the next few days.
At this time Don will likely not survive these unfavorable conditions once in the Caribbean, thus future impacts to locations in the western Caribbean and United States are unlikely.
