The first severe weather outbreak of the season 2/23/19

The severe weather risk today will largely stay to our north but it should be a reminder what time of the year we are moving towards. We will need to watch the tail-end of a developing line for one or two severe cells later today/tonight but considering all the energy is heading north of us, the line will likely be broken in nature.

Tonight’s parades should be ok for the most part, however bring a poncho just in case, and stay tuned to your favorite local parade tracker apps in case of any cancellations.

Looking ahead through the Mardi Gras stretch, there’s not much consistency in model guidance for any forecast of much confidence at this time. Stay tuned!
