Severe weather outbreak expected for Saturday, 4/13/19

All modes of severe weather will be possible with this outbreak. Tornadoes and damaging winds will be of primary concern. The entire state of Louisiana, east Texas and most of Mississippi are within AT LEAST a Slight Risk as per the Storm Prediction Center, with the northern half of Louisiana under and Enhanced Risk.

Severe parameters suggest that we could see numerous tornadoes through the Enhanced Risk zone, with some of them being significant. This is still on Day 3 so an upgrade to Moderate Risk is possible.

Timing will be from west to east, Saturday through Saturday night into the early morning hours on Sunday. By Sunday morning, temperatures will once again cool down leaving the way for another stretch of beautiful days.
