Here we go again, a flood threat is expected to materialize over the next 48hrs as our first storm of 2019 brings multiple inches of rain to the state. The ground is saturated and our rivers are swollen so flash flooding will be quick to develop. Expect rains to increase over western LA on Wednesday before expanding across the state thru Thursday. I feel as though inland areas have the greatest likelihood of seeing multiple inches of rain, some isolated locations could be in that 6-8” range when all is said and done. Make sure you stay up to date on the latest weather information as this event unfolds.
