Remnants of TD #4 to bring more rain to Gulf Coast this weekend

It’s like the never changing story this summer, more heavy rain is in the forecast and it’s all due to the old energy from Tropical Depression #4.

Over the course of this weekend rain chances will remain high with an increased potential for heavy rainfall as the remnants of TD #4 move across the Gulf and into Louisiana.

Conditions are not favorable for this weak circulation to organize but just the additional tropical moisture will lead to numerous storms this weekend.

Rainfall accumulations over the weekend will be in the 1 – 3″ range with isolated spots picking up as much as 4 inches.

Elsewhere in the tropics, the weather is relatively quiet across the Atlantic Ocean.
