Invest 98L, which popped up out of nowhere on Sunday, has organized enough to become Tropical Storm Emily.
Radar and satellite images continue to show the system organizing as it tracks towards the west coast of Florida very near Tampa Bay.
A Tropical Storm Warning has been posted from Anclote River southward to Bonita Beach on the west coast of Florida.
The big threat for all of the Florida Peninsula will be the heavy rainfall associated with this weak system.
