The Atlantic basin goes into hyperactive mode again…

On this Saturday evening, 9/16/17, we’re monitoring three named storms across the basin.  First of all Lee should remain out to sea and not affect anyone.  Second is Jose who may get dangerously close to some of the New England states.

Third is the one that has our attention, and that’s Maria.  Maria is forecast to be a major hurricane by the time it threatens Puerto Rico.  From today through about that time period, the track is pretty much straight forward.  Beyond that is where things get questionable, and a lot of that will have to do with what Jose does.  For now, we’ll continue to bake in this late summer heat just keep an eye on everything as a whole.
