There is no denying the pattern that is shaping up across the United States this week, colder.
A large ridge of high pressure will build over the West and the Canadian Martimes leading to two dips in the jet stream over the central United States.
This will cause two batches of colder air to funnel out of Canada with the first coming by midweek and a second, colder push coming next weekend.
Of course we are still a few days off and the details can change but maybe, just maybe we will experience our first full weekend of fall weather just in time for Halloween weekend.
