We’ve all noticed it. Plants are starting to show signs of life, flowers are starting to bloom and grass is beginning to turn green again. But is winter really over? We’re going to finish off the month of February with warm temperatures, averaging around 80 degrees every day. This will also lead to many foggy mornings so keep that in mind when planning your morning commute.
However, long range signs are pointing to at least one more decent shot of colder air. This next shot could bring another round of freezing temperatures to the region, however no hard freezes are expected at this time. We’ll see if this remains to be the same as we enter the month of March.
In the short term, showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day beginning Tuesday, February 20th through Friday, February 23rd. No severe weather is anticipated at this time.
