As we head into the new work week, we’ll be treated to cooler temperatures once again, but first we have to get through a round of showers and thunderstorms this weekend. Tomorrow (Sunday) will bring our best rain chances. Some of the storms could be strong, but severe weather is not anticipated. The first of the fronts will move through Monday bringing some good feel air back to the region for the work week.
Beyond that, long range models are indicating another, stronger cold front coming in just prior to Halloween. If the bulk of that cold air can reach the gulf coast, we could see 30’s for morning lows across the region.
